chapter 8

Chapter 8 gave several good ideas on using technology in the classroom. Overall though I felt as if the chapter was repeating the things we have been talking about. I also feel that all the numbers they threw around are just statisics for common sense. I feel like each teacher needs to be inovative in encorporating technology in their classroom and use it in a variety of ways to keep the students interested but at the same time i feel like there is nothing wrong with the old way of doing things sometimes. I think kids still need to be able to grab a text book and do homework yet i feel like all the emphasis on technology in the classroom could lead to some teachers leaving the old ways behind.
